24kGoldn dropped a new spin on his TikTok classic “Mood” single featuring Iann Dior — this time adding Justin Bieber and J Balvin to the remixed track as well as a “brand-new” verse from Goldn himself. An animated lyric video for the song also dropped this morning.
After two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and on-going virality, the remix offers up a bright, upbeat verse from Balvin and some memorable, social-distancing appropriate wordplay from Justin Bieber, ie. “connect to your body like its Bluetooth.” Bieber and Balvin have previously joined up for a remix of Bieber’s 2015 track “Sorry” and deliver a similarly catchy twist on a hit here.
And, for 24kGoldn, this remix only solidifies 2020 as his breakout year between earning a spot on the 2020 XXL Freshman roster and a bonafide “song of the summer” status. The artist is also currently working on his debut album, El Dorado, currently slated a 2021 release.
Other exciting collaborative drops today include Emergency Tsunami, a full-length mixtape from NAV and Wheezy.
